Drug Test Kit with EDIT DrugID

The Home Office has approved the new specification EDIT DrugID Cocaine for use as a Drug Test Kit under the EDIT and Guilty Plea to personal possession scenario. If a trained officer uses EDIT DrugID to confirm the suspicion that a substance is cocaine, and it is a small quantity and is for personal use, now with no requirement for an admission f guilt fro the subject, along with the admitted guilt of the suspect, the case can go straight to the Magistrate without the need for forensic confirmation. This saves significant amounts of time and money, estimated by the Met to be at an average of around £1,000 to£1,500 per case.

The random screening of police officers and staff for employment purposes. This can be pre employment, random during probation, promotion and also for Health and Safety reasons.
